Marla's Signature Frame Drum from
Cooperman Company

Working closely with Cooperman Drum Company, Marla designed a drum that offers both introductory and advanced players a drum that is easy to hand and provides effortless access to a variety of playing styles. The shallow depth (3.25 cm) and mid-siz (16" diameter) and cherry frame is expressive while being light in weight. A unique profile grip is positioned alongside a traditional thumbhole, creating a facile method of adjusting varied playing styles, great for the player that wants a light-weight easy to play drum. The icing on the cake (or the drum) is that Marla is working with henna artist Ahava Jacobson to create a beautiful, original henna design to be put on the head of the drum drum.
