DRUMMING IN THE FEMININE

Since ancient time, history tells us that women have gathered in sacred circles to celebrate life through drumming. In fact, did you know that women were the first drummers in cultures all over the world?

In this special workshop, we will connect to this rich, ancient lineage to create a beautiful community of empowered drumming ladies.  We will be learning the frame drum ( Middle Eastern drum that was traditionally played by women), Middle Eastern Rhythms how to improvise, Indian rhythmic chanting and West African drumming & dancing. We will also spend some time setting intentions, journaling and sharing.

***Everyone is welcome, beginners are encouraged
Drums Provided. Please bring your own drum if you have one
Please also bring a journal.
