The Rhythms in Peace Project is dedicated to the education and preservation of frame
drumming traditions from around the world.
We are currently creating the FIRST products in support of this project; an Educational Drumming DVD and a
special World Music CD, to be created in Morocco, Israel and USA, and are
asking for your support!
A portion of the CD and DVD sales will be given directly back to the artists we collaborate with in Morocco, and used
towards creating an interactive Rhythms in Peace website..

Women in most Muslim countries today
suffer more challenges in their everyday lives than most
of us can comprehend. Working
closely with the Moroccan women's drumming/vocal group,
The Houariyates, offers the Rhythms in
Peace project, an unique opportunity to support women musicians in Muslim countries.
As part of the global outreach of this project. Rhythms in Peace will share
a percentage
of their one years sales to the group through the Empowerment Works Micro
-Grants Program,
as well as hopes to assist the group to tour in
western countries as well as include them in
drumming
retreats in USA and Morocco.
