Working closely with
the wonderful Cooperman Drum Company, Marla designed
a drum that offers both introductory and advanced players a
drum that is easy to hand and provides effortless access to
a variety of playing styles. The shallow depth (3.25 cm) and
mid-siz (16" diameter) and cherry frame is expressive while
being light in weight. The beautiful Moroccan
inspired original henna design was created by
Bhava and Beryl Jacobson.
The drum has a "M" shape cut out as well as
thumbhole!
Cooperman Drum Company is one of the best drum makers in the
world. They treat each drum as a piece of art, and make them by
hand. Also, the drums are tunable and the heads are
interchangeable.
