((:: ABOUT YOUR TEACHERS ::))

Marla is one of the few female specialists in the ancient Middle Eastern drum called the Frame Drum.  She received a Master of Fine Arts in Percussion from California Institute of the Arts.

Emulating her teachers, Marla carries the gift of being an inspiring, energetic and patient teacher who offers drumming workshops and retreats in the USA, Canada and Mexico.  She has released “ Time Zone”, an instructional DVD for hand drums and has designed her own signature series line of Frame Drums with the Cooperman Drum Company. Her music can be heard on Hala Khouri’s new yoga DVD, the film, “ Bold Native” and short animation movie,” The Cellist”.  Marla is currently working on her landmark, debut World Music yoga and dance album entitled “Rhythms in Peace”.

Jacqui Lalita
is a dancer, poet, alchemist, healer, and muse here to reawaken the divine feminine in its infinite forms. Distilling pure essence of the Goddess, Jacqui's sensuality and radiant love stir the souls desire to commune with Source. When she dances, spectators viscerally connect to angelic realms and temple priestesses of ancient egypt. Her movement is medicine, meditation and a metaphor for living in freedom and celebration.

Using rhythm and motion as a bridge to transcend cultural borders, Jacqui has danced across Europe, North Africa, Indonesia and the Americas. With a vibrant array of world dances and moving meditations, she has a mastery for excavating the authentic dancer in students of all ages and abilities. The exuberant and exotic style of her healing dance retreats offer an enchanting escapade into Spirit.
